Jim House

Chief Executive Officer

Jim brings nearly 40 years of aerospace, defense, and fortune 100 business leadership and knowledge to  DuXion. After completing a 21-year military aviation career, Jim finished his MBA at Royal Roads University. He spent the next 18 years focused on corporate account management, business development and government relations with Pratt & Whitney Canada and Honeywell. Returning to his home after 33 years, Jim served as the Director of Business Strategy with the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sheikh Rabbi 

Chief Technology Officer

Rabbi is an electrical engineer with a passionate dedication to the research and development of new technologies. With a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, Rabbi has more than 9 years’ experience in electric machine design, and power electronics and control systems development for high-speed pumps and compressors. Rabbi's works on electric machines have been published in over 35 papers including multiple IEEE Transactions Papers, and are featured in prestigious NOIA News magazine and World Oil magazine.

Trevor Forward

Mechanical Systems Lead

Trevor, a Mechanical Engineer, has always had a passion for innovation and technology and believes that discovering and utilizing new technologies is the only way that we can tackle our toughest challenges. Trevor’s professional experience extends from energy, oil and gas, research and product design. Trevor was a Founder and Technical Lead with OpenLoop, which competed in SpaceX's Hyperloop Competition, achieving a Top 10 finish (out of 1200). At Apple, Trevor investigated design challenges and failure modes for new products.

Christine Tovee

Christine is the former CTO of Airbus Group North America, the first woman to hold this position. Prior to Airbus, Christine worked at BAE Systems on several projects in the U.K. and the U.S. She has a B.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from U of T and has a Masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from MIT.

Catherina Kennedy

Catherina is a leader in international business development, government relations and corporate strategy. She worked in senior roles with the Governments of Canada and NL, and has over 15 years experience in the technology sector. Catherina manages her own consultancy firm and has networks around the globe that her clients tap into.

Rick Pilgrim

Rick is a seasoned leader with deep experience in developing technology-based companies. After 5 years in the air-force, Rick spent 16 years in Schlumberger, and worked as a Vice President in LeTourneau Tech. Recently, he founded QuickSilver, a company focused on developing a proprietary drilling technology that was sold to the world’s largest offshore drilling contractor. Rick has multiple patents and holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
