automotive industry. The primary limitations are high power, lightweight electric
propulsion and power dense batteries. DuXion solves the first problem by combining
powerful, lightweight electric drives with novel mechanical packaging solutions for large
scale applications. Our mission is to ignite a paradigm shift in the transportation

DuXion is carrying out multiple projects in partnerships with large aerospace and marine
OEMs to build and test full-scale prototypes of its patent pending technologies. The
detailed design process of these units has begun and prototypes will be developed in
the coming months.

The Role

DuXion is looking for a passionate individual to join our team full-time as a Drafting
Technician. The person will be responsible for drafting CAD drawings, setting up CAE
simulations, and assembling components for functionality testing of our propulsion
systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings and diagrams

• Operate CAD software and develop 3D models for engineering simulations

• Assisting other team members in their design work by setting up models using computer-aided engineering software (CAE)

• Manage high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and develop subroutines for running jobs in the cluster

• Sort and file documents in the cloud according to established filing systems, locate and retrieve documents from files as requested and maintain records of filed and removed materials

Qualifications

• Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP)

• Expert in developing CAD drawings for high-speed rotating parts and assemblies for ground transportation

• Experience in producing CAD drawings for 3D printing

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and FEA simulation software

• Previous experience in assembly of parts for electric vehicle functionality testing

• High school diploma or equivalent
